BHS Model United Nations REIPREISEHTS SIAIYIOIA The Hague International Model United Nations was held Jan. 26 through Jan. 30, 1988, in Den l-laag, Neth- erlands. Six students from BAHS were chosen to rep- resent the country of Samoa. These students were: Christine O'Brien, Ambassador, Jen Ward, Curtis Thom- as, Gary Waxg Ediude Pecson, and Jim Drewry. To be chosen as a delegate, the students had to be interviewed by a panel of teachers and administrators, They were asked questions concerning world problems and how they would solve them. After being chosen to be a delegate, the students had to prepare for The Hague by doing extensive research on their country and their resolution topics. Schools from all over the world sent delegations to the l-lague, as well as most of the DODDS schools in Europe. Schools from South Africa, Kuwait, Yogoslavia, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, and the U.S. attended the annual conference.
