This club was among the year's firsts at BAHS. Sporadic pep had always been around the school. However, with the birth of this organization, pep bacame a cons- tant at rallies and games. School Spirit was shown through cheer and performance. Members were: Kim Lloyd, Kim Hamilton, La Jean Bradsher, Meyoshi Smith, Val Waters, Michella Troy, Christina Cyphers, Ellen Butler, Tjana McCants, Sandy Stalnaker, Clarissa San Nicholas, Jenny Tri, Mary Ann Ellerbee, Latisha Hambrick, Darla Hendricks, Devon Green, Lori Hendricks, Amber Javery, Dawn Cavenaugh, Lori Johnson, Melissa Anderson, Karen Gregory, Tamala Richardson, Rosalind Wiggins, Philisa Tigner, Stephanie Hasberry, Deidre Gottsch, Nicole Funmaker, Leslie King, and Elain Butler. Senior Steve Liermann served as president of National Honor Society. Members of the Society included Lisa Osborne, Mary Ann Bartholomey, Tammy Carswell, Katrina Motley, Amy Ours, Pauline San Nicholas, Carols Kingma, Amy Henderson, Kristina Somerville, Sandy Bauer, and Chris Lowell. Dr. Francis was the sponsor. Leadership, Character, And Good Grades Every Spring a special and solemn convocation is held at the Bamberg Chapel. Its purpose, to honor and induct into the society students who are achievers socially and academically.
