Dr. Francis was the sponsor. Leadership, Character, And Good Grades Every Spring a special and solemn convocation is held at the Bamberg Chapel. Its purpose, to honor and induct into the society students who are achievers socially and academically. The Golden Girls performed at all the home football games and basketball games and they went to all but one away game during the basketball season. The girls per- formed various types of routines to different kinds of music to keep the crowd entertained at half-time. This club was among the year's firsts at BAHS. Sporadic pep had always been around the school. However, with the birth of this organization, pep bacame a cons- tant at rallies and games. School Spirit was shown through cheer and performance.
