By means of a fundamental physical develop ment program, marked by modern methods of training, Collegians are offered every opportunity to increase their athletic prowess. City athletes acquire a competitive spirit, a sportsmanlike attitude, and at keen understand- ing of the various facets ol' their respective sports as they engage in such diverse activities as football, wrestling, lacrosse, and track under the guidance of trained instruc- tors. Coordinaton and physical control are attained by utilizing the school's apparatus facilities. Natural stam- ina and skill are enhanced through participation in school-wide intramural competition.
