They walked slowly and examined every step carefully. As time passed and they gained confidence in both themselves and their work, the boys began to feel that they were a part of City College - in its classrooms, its social and scholastic activities, and on the athletic field. They began to associate themselves with every facet of City College life and to participate to their fullest extent. XVith Nlr. Clay Stall as their adviser, the boys organized their class. Though they held their elections late in the school year, they were still able to organize and adjust themselves and to function as a unit. In a very close and exciting election, Steve Sklar was elected President: Pete Trager, Vice-Presidentg -lay Caplan, Secretary: l,arry Gibson, Treasurerg and Sheldon Bearman, Ser- geant-at-Arms.
