Language students at City may study classical Latin, or lfrench, German, and Spanish, the three modern languages olliered. High point ol the program is the accelerated Latin course which studies classical thought and art through the works ol' Cicero, Caesar. Livy, Vir- gil, and Horace. 1-lach year at commencement, numerous awards are ollerecl lor outstanding achievements in this field.
