It is the last day of-Ianuary and already the Editor is
asking for my I-Ieadmaster's message. So, here goes! !
I don't know how many times I have told Parents, Staff,
Board Members, and Friends that to date we are having
an extremely good year. Everyone who knows what is
going on around our hallowed halls Qin the main I refer to
the girlsj agrees with me. Surely, we can't all be wrong! !
This year I have been particularly pleased with the at-
titude of our STUDENTS. Positive, not negative: Construc-
tive, not destructive . . . A healthy respect for what B.H.
stands for pervades our community. After all is said and
done . . . A school is not bricks and mortar, books and
binders, playing fields and gymnasiums Qor what have
youj but PEOPLE. We have some fine young people around
the place and they make the school what it is today . . . A
school of which we can all be proud.
I am truly proud of our achievements this year. I am
proud of the way the school is developing. I am proud to be
the Head of a fine "Family" of people.
To those of you who are leaving us this School Year, I
say . . . QThe words are Kipling's, of coursej.
"If you can dream - and not make dreams your mastery
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aimg
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster . . ."
. . . you'll do WELL in life.
Come back and see us sometime.
