'far K' Mr. Fletcher Keith Hamack Lanna Peterson Adviser President Vice President Juanita Landis Secretary 'Q' ' Diane Williamson Treasurer ' Senior Class As they reflect back, their years at Ballard will live long in their memories. In their sophomore year, the class of '65 sponsored pep assemblies for both football and basketball. In January, they held the P.T.A. dance, Deep Freeze, while in February, the class sponsored another dance, Big George. As Juniors they remained as spirited as they had been in the past by sponsoring gala pep assemblies, Com- panion Night, a car show, and a dance. The outstanding highlight of the year was the Junior Reception, Over the Rainbow. ln preparing for their Senior year, they purchased their Senior pins and chose blue and white for their graduating colors. The class of '65 undertook a series of successful and rewarding projects, they planned the Senior Reception, It's Almost Tomorrow, and Senior Night. Exciting and successful pep assemblies and P.T.A. dances were pro- moted bythe class. With the ordering of announcements, fittings of caps and gowns, and selection of speakers came practices of Commencement. Highlights near the close of the year were the dinner dance, White Day, the selection of deserving Senior royalty, and the moving up assembly. The Senior class took an active part in the Snoose Junction Function by holding a teenage night club. The Senior Prom, C'est l'amour, with all of its elegance, was held for the first time in the Olympic Hotel. Another first climaxed their Senior year, Com- mencement was held in the Coliseum on the evening of June l2. They look toward the future, behind them are the treas- ured memories, sights, and crowds. lO5
