The aim of Girls' Club is to create friendship and good feeling among the girls of the school. as the idea of the United Nations is to bring friendship to all the world. lt provides creative and constructive projects through which the girls may prepare them- selves for future volunteer work and good citizenship. Girls, Club strives to serve the needs of all girls in the school, just as the United Nations represents all the world. With the help and guidance of our advisor, Mrs. Rodenhouse. Girls, Club was a big suc- cess this year. Having the new activity cen- ter provided a perfect working area for many an active girl. The year started off on the opening day with Ballardites being big sis- ters to new girls. Roll room representatives were elected, and attended meetings every VVednesday morning. They are the median between cabinet members and the individual girl, and communicate the weeks, activities and meetings to the girls. Some of the numerous projects carried out, were the Miniature Conference. pep assemblies, New Girls' Party, Father-Daughter Night, P-T.A. Dances, Mother-Daughter Banquet, Health Week, the Faculty Tea, and White Day. I .. ape sv., ,zif:.lL4'k:g9,.
