The staff be- gan working in September and continued their work right through June. The first order of business was to select a theme. When this was done, the class divided into six different groups to work on the layouts of the various sections. Class and faculty pictures were taken and soon the Shingle began to take form. With determination and vigor, the art staff worked right along with the Shingle staff to make this book one of the best Ballard has ever had. Outside of their busy schedule, the staff found time for a little fun and relaxation, too. They went on a cruise in the spring, and to round out the year, a banquet was held. At this time, the staff received their Shingles containing memories of a won- derful year. Shingle Art Staff-Murray, Thorp, Williams, Advisor - Mrs. Henning, Whitlock, Stenholm.
