The first duty of the Honor Society officers and cabinet is to determine the membership of the or- ganization. Another of their tasks is to see that ushers are provided for all school activities. One of Honor Society's main activities during the course of the year was the Scholarship Information Meeting in January. The meeting was intended to give seniors and their parents an opportunity to talk with representatives of the organizations of- fering scholarships. Honor Society played an important part in helping Ballard have its first exchange student this year. Next year, partly through the efforts of Honor So- ciety, a Ballard student will have an opportunity to become a foreign exchange student. With their growing membership, Honor Society expects, next year, to be even more successful, and to become a larger part of the framework of Ballard High School.

Among the plans that have been laid but not yet completely fulfilled are the Tutorial System and an All-City Boys' Club meeting. This year's Boys' Club has very definitely laid the foundation on which future Ballard boys may build. Drives Pep Red Cross
