Some of the biggest activities in- cluded Father-Daughter Night, Mother-Daughter Night, Faculty Tea, Girls' Club Miniature Conference, and Girls' Club Week. The officers under the leadership of their advisor, Mrs. Rodenhouse, form the nucleus of Girls' Club activities. The cabinet and their committees work with the of- ficers to carry out their plans. Every girl in school is a member of Girls' Club and has the opportunity to play a bigger part in building a better Girls' Club by ioining committees. Last spring the Girls' Club officers were elected and the cabinet chosen so they could be ready to begin their work as soon as school started in the fall. Roll representatives are elected from each roll room. These representatives meet once a week and report back to their rolls the activities and events that are being planned for the future. A I . Also, rolls with misconduct or absence at assemblies m a y be barred from attending future assemblies. Our court is still young, but as it gains more experi- ence so also will it gain responsibilities. A good student government is often the mark of a well-run school. The students and faculty at Ballard are very proud of their A.S.B. This year the A.S.B. has had more people participating efficiently in more ac- tivities than in any other year.
