ln this modern world industry, architecture, transpor- tation and even entertainment are great factors to our living. However, none of these would be possible without the factor of modern educational methods. The follow- ing pages disclose the opinions of our faculty members concerning newer methods of education.

W It is easier to know to get along with and to understand one another in these modern times than it was years ago, states Heber D Johnson, principal of Ballard High School Improvement in all types of communication have made better re lations possible in our school, our country, and among nations Automobiles, airplanes, radio, motion pictures, the telephone and even letters have all played mayor roles in bringing people closer together Modern education is preparing students to carry on the search for better under standing of the important changes that are tak ing place in their lives In all fields of science, for instance, great improvements and many dis- coveries have been made. Methods for making history courses and English more interesting, with broader coverage of significant happenings, have developed greatly through the years. Art, music, and shop crafts are playing much larger roles in the lives of today's Young Modems. Mr. Johnson's advice to students, who will be facing today's modern living in general, is this, Try to study the interests and understand the activities in which all are involved in the process of making this world a truly modern one.
