Just as one of the main functions of this college is the preparation of teachers, that of Kappa Delta Pi the education honorary, is to assist in that prepara tion through the encouragement of high professional standards. Kappa Delta Pi recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of education and emphasizes the ideal of worthy service to the profession of edu cation. KAPPA DELTA Pl In order to accomplish its aims, Kappa Delta Pl was active throughout the year. In the fall the or ganization sponsored a panel discussion to aquaint freshmen with college life, and, in the spring rt sponsored another panel discussion entitled What Next? designed to help seniors gain a clearer, over all view of the education profession. Also Kappa Delta Pi gave a Christmas party for less fortunate children, sponsored a talk by a well-known educator, and gave financial help for High School Senior Day This year Kappa Delta Pi added a new activity to its agenda by giving a breakfast for outstanding sophomores.
