FCREWCJRD Many things have come and gone since the beginning of the school year in September. As you turn the pages of your 1964 Purple Quill, we hope you will recall the many events, whether they be good, bad, sad, or glad, which occurred up to and through the big night of graduation. We all laughed at things we thought were funny, and we cried at things that were sad. Now it's time to look ahead, for the Seniors, either to college or the business World, and for the juniors and Sophomores another year to come at Ball High. As the doors of B.H.S. close for an- other year, the staff of the Purple Quill hopes that you will be successful and happy in every way now, and in all the years ahead. ejimazffd Carolyn Ehman Editor

DEDICATION MISS HELEN ROBINSON Many people make deep impressions on the lives of students while they are in High School. Some of these impressions are good, some are bad. But these im- pressions, whether good or bad, perhaps mold our lives more than all the text- books that we, as students, can possibly read. Miss Helen Robinson made a good impression. She was a good teacher. Miss Robinson retired at the end of the 1963 school year. She had been a teacher for 44 years, 54 of which were at Ball High. She was devoted. She was aware of her responsibility. She was concerned about her students. She had an uncanny knowledge of English. She made a deep impression on the lives of her students, and this impression was good. Ball High School is indebted to her for what she was, and it is with this in mind, that we dedicate this, the 1964 Purple Quill, to Miss Helen Robinson. x
