This was the first appearance of the Drill Team since its incorpo- ration in the National Order of Pershing Rifles this term, and it was quite successful. Pershing Rifles commander is Benny De La Rosa. W O. 7 G CgGQfS Tired hut happy. the ROTC re- turns to Galveston on one of the Corps' two chartered buses to Port Arthur. The Battalion con- tributed greatly to the school spirit at the Port Arthur game, and the Cadets cheered the Tors on to victory. Heer will be a lieutenant colonel at the end of the year. Cadet Second Lieutenant Robert Baker and his guest, Elaine Hen- nessey, are greeted Cleft? by a reception line of high-ranking Battalion officers at the Twenty- first Annual Military Ball and Banquet.
