The Ball High Unit of the ROTC has completed its twenty-first year of service to Ball High and to its Cadets. It has fulfilled all its missions and has been completely successful in bringing honor, glory, and respect to the proud Ball High name. This year has been a very busy one for Ball High Cadets, and has seen the innovation of the first Order of the Pershing Rifles group in high school circles of the nation. From this Pershing Rifles group has come the superb Drill Team which has performed so well in Ball High,s name and has brought respect and admiration to it. New this year also were a third company for the ROTC Battalion, a Junior Drill Team, and an Officers Training School for Corps leaders. With such functions as the traditional annual Military Ball and style shows, turkey shoots, picnics, drill exhibitions, and presentation of decora- tions and awards, the Cadets of the Ball High Corps have had a busy and fruitful year. The Ball High Reserve Officers Training Corps has lived up to its great reputation this year, as it will in many years to come.
