Region V all-region hand honors were received by: Mezzino, Michel, Seymour and Lowe, along with Sue Gay, Don Wilkins, and Jo Vern Smiley. Q3 14122 y mn or Mike Mezzino, junior student, was named one of twelve alto saxophonists in the all-state hand. He played with this all-Texas concert band February 15 in the Dallas fair park auditorium, as part of the Texas Music Educators state convention program.
