GIRLS ' ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION Skillfully guided by president Marianne Freese, the G.A.A. board handled a full sched- ule this year. Included was a uDate With Daddyn and a Home Coming Partyw for the class of 752. The induction in January was highlighted by the announcement of Sports- nite captains. Class competition was encouraged by the organization of the G.A.A.F., with a plaque awarded to the class that accumulated the greatest number of points. Another innova- tion was the bulletin board which was pre- sented by the G.A.A. to the Girls' Physical Education Department. Members of the board were: Pat Bleier, Marie Burns, Pat Duncan, Betty Foster, Ann Hoagland, Nancy Kahl, ,loan Kopf, Willa Mc- Dowell, Roxy Swift, Carol Wanarnaker, and Roberta Young. SERVICE CLUB The main purpose of the brand new Service Club is to assist the Girls' Physical Education Department with its clerical work. The girls are awarded fifteen points towards an athletic award for working five 'gservice hoursf' and a gold key for twenty service hoursf, These are earned by helping in gym class, the gym office, the clinic, or by serving as an officer of Leaders, G.A.A., or Service Club.
