Ulibe Qatsuma Last lDill and Testament Q ,i f, - I ' XI We, the Senior Class of Nineteen Twenty Three H9235 being fully aware of the fact, that we shall soon depart from these walls forever, to bear the hardships of the cold, unsympathetic world alone, and being, this once, in full possession of a sound mind, do make known, publish, and declare this to be our last Will and Testament, at the same time rendering null and void any wills by us at any time heretofore made. VVe also wish to appoint Mr. Hartman our lawful executor to execute everything contained in this, our Last Will and Testament. Such property as it has pleased the gods to give us we dispose of as follows: ITEM I We do will and bequeath to the Faculty our heartfelt thanks for the many things they have done in our behalf, and for their untiring efforts in trying to impart to us some of their store of knowledge. ITEM II To the Juniors, we hereby will and bequeath all of our dignity, the fa- mous Senior corner and all privileges connected with it, also the right of going to Pensacola to have their pictures made. ITEM III To the Sophomores we leave the privilege of moving into the room with the dignihed Seniors, hoping that by so doing they may catch the spirit of dignity so prevalent in this room. ITEM IV We hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Freshmen, Miss Dunn as their English teacher, with the injunctions, to never fail to have ready book reports, outlines and themes at stated times, for if such calamity should befall you,-woe unto you! Our personal and other property we dispose of as follows: ITEM 1 I, Loretta Schmall, do hereby will and bequeath, my vocabulary to Rob- ert Boyd. ITEM 2 I, Mae Terrell, do hereby will and bequeath to Dorothy Boller my right to act as substitute teacher in the absence of any of the grade teachers.

Mhz Satsuma Kerney Terrell's august power VVorks upon the minds' of all- Bright his face, without a look sour, Pleasant smiles we all recall. With the Seniors now is abiding With friends and foes, both young and old, Fate, be kind, Jack at stake riding Make him more than worthless gold. Miss Dunn, our teacher, we adore, She has given us a plenty g Of Shakespearerand of English lore, That our heads might not be empty. Miss Stewart the girls did enlighten, To boil and stew, to bake and brew, How bread to bake and homes to brighten, To make some dainty garments, too. Mr. West the boys did instruct, How trees to prune and land to build, And how the buildings to construct, So their brains with plans are filled. Miss Case, teacher' of history, Many events, she oft does tell, Of Connecticut state story And some other places as well. Mr. Tipton, chemistry does teach, And the experiments we do, Should make us all be careful each, Explosives, handled we a few. You tho't, when I had but begun, That I was a noted poet, But now, that my poem's nearly done, That I'm not, you'll surely know it. , KARL sToCKE MPN' - A .
