Miss Alta Cheek 9930 'C-If 'f, I N This was Miss Cheek's first year at Bald Knob as the girls' physical Education teacher. She is a graduate of Harding and also teaches junior High Health, Spelling, and English. Mr. James Edwards Coach Edwards , as he is better known, is the girls' basketball coach. He also teaches Geo- graphy and Spelling in Junior High. He is a Harding graduate and has done work at Peabody. I I 1 f .- ,Q 1 Mr. Guerry Moorer This is Mr. Moorer's firstyear here as a teacher, although he did practice teaching at BK last year. Mr. Moorer went to David Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tenn. and did some graduate work at the U. of Ark. He teaches junior High History and Science. Miss Bettye McLaughlin Miss McLaughlin. is a graduate of Henderson State Teachers College and attended Graceland Col- lege for two years. She directs the Glee Club and all other musical activities at BKHS. Mrs. Martin graduated from ASTC and Maryville College. Mr. Jack Willis Coach Willis, who is a real pal to all, is spending his second year as coach at BKHS. He is a graduate of ASTC and a former member of the- team he now coaches. Mfmfffv Miss Geneva Ferguson Miss Ferguson, a graduate of ASTC, is finish- ing her sixth year at BKHS. She leads the FHA Chap- ter in their activities and trains practice teachers from ASTC. Mr. Justin Richardson During his 13 years as Vocational Agriculture teacher at BKHS, Mr. Richardson has built up one of the finest Agri departments in the state. Mrs. Hazel Laster Mrs. Laster, besides teachinglunior High Science, has been an avid sports fan and inspiration to Bald Knob stu- dents for nine years. Ermin- ger who teaches voice and piano, She was once a student at Bald Knob and has made the community quite proud of her as she has shown her musical talent time and again. Mr. Gillen Emde Mr. Emde, our noon patrolman for the hookey players, taught History, Geography, and Math in Junior High. He graduated from ASTC after attend- ing Graceland College for two years, Lasfsx XS
