Although Mr. Fischer' must leave us now, he is proud of the new developments which have come about in BHS during his time. Here he shows that Teaching methods im- proved greatly since the first day. Today students are getting part of their education with the help of mechanical devices, such as the opaque andifilm proiectors shown here. Our school has come a long way since 1940 and Mr. Fischer has been a part of it all. Balboa High School will continue to pro- gress and in the next fifteen years, its stu- dents will look back again. But those students will never know Mr. Fischer as we have known him and they will never know the meaning of his departure as we will know it. Bob Tarr and Les Fulcher are taught physics with the aid of a film and projector
