we counseling and guidance of San Francisco Schools, called him from Balboa to Civic Auditorium from which place he will supervise all work in connec- tion with this newly inaugurated system. As evid- ence of the power and ability of Balboa High School students to govern themselves, a rally was called following an unexpected trip on the part of some Buccaneers to the jefferson campus which might have had rather unfortunate results for the student body as a whole had not the persons responsible ad- mitted their part in the affair and received their punishment from student association ollicers. Elected to assist in carrying out the various duties of this organization were: Dora johnson, vice presi- dent, Irene Steffe, secretary, Dean Elchinoff, treas- urerg Ruth McEntee, assistant treasurer, Don Lee, athletic manager, Alan Walstrormu, custodian, Dick A hlatter nf llraher, yell leader. Appointed by the Board were: Fred Schabel, student court judge, Mildred Neal, associate judge, Hazel Koonsen, registrar of voters, Clarence Sorenson, assistant registrar, Marjorie Klahn, publicity manager, Nels Nelson, traffic cap- tain, and cafeteria manager, Louis Stark. Other per- sons whose membership completed the Board or- ganization were: G.A.A. president, Eileen Volpat- ti, Galleon editor, Anna Laterzag Galleon manager, Lorraine Latterellg Buccaneer editor Kand Girls' Block B president, Lois Hansen, Buccaneer man- ager, Eileen Wriglatg Boys' Block B president Don Maroskyg Girls' Council president, Kay Etero- vichg R.O.T.C.
