They registered and placed students in classes according to their abilities always keeping in rnind a schedule that would lead to post-high school training so that the students might fulfill vocational ambitions. Coun- selors advised students regarding study habits, vo- cational opportunities, and the choice oi eXtra-curric- ular activities Which would use such time wisely. Observing students' attendance records and receiv- ing referrals from teachers concerning students' aca- demic or behavior problems were other duties oi the counselors. He arranged and scheduled assemblies, promoted and supervised all club activities, and served as the official school historian. Miss Bonnye Deal served B.H.S. as Director ot Testing. She was responsible tor the super- vision ot the group testing and placement pro- gram. The results ot these tests aided teachers and counselors in guiding students. -,wj,,- Mr. Kamrar assumed the position ot Campus Su- pervisor.
