The Key Club sponsors a well-rounded activities program. It includes College and Career Day, which aids seniors in post-graduation plans; the Christmas Dance, which is a social highspot of the holidays, and outstanding Senior Boy and Girl Awards, which recognize high academic achievement. The Student Council leads the student body in school ac- tivities. Assembly programs, sock hops, Safety Week, an annual slave sale, and a yearly student talent show are each sponsored by the student council in order to raise sufficient funds for the purchase of items which are needed and desired by the student body such as “B” jackets, mega- phones for the cheerleaders, and the most outstanding of all, the sponsoring of the Honor Student Banquet.
