The auartermasters lay out tracks on navigation- al charts using researched information pertinent to the area of oper- ations so BAINBRIDGE can travel from origin to destination smoothly and on time. All charts and publications pertinent to the safe naviga- tion of the ship are maintained by the members of N Division. Quarter- masters stand duty on the bridge as Quartermaster of the Watch and are also called on for their expertise on the Helm during close maneu- vers such as Underway Replenishment and bringing the BAINBRIDGE to port or home through narrow channels.
