The digital computer complex processes information from, and outputs information to, NTDS, Fire Control Radar, Weapons Direction Sys- tem, and the Guided Missile Launching System. Major equipments in the computer complex are the MK 452 Computer, Digital Data Recorder MK 49, lnputfOut- put Console MK 77, and Signal Data Converter MK 75. The Fire Control Technicians, FT's, of F-4 Division are responsible for the operation and maintenance of BAINBRIDGE's Main Battery weapons systems, primary air search radar, and the all-new Harpoon Surface Missile System. The equipments involved are many and varied. F-l's eyes are the AN fSPSA8 Air Search Radar, and four AN f SPG-55B Fire Control Radars. Its brain consists of two digital computer complexes with two digital computer systems each.
