COMMANDING OFFICER Commander Anderson was commisioned December 18. 1864 from the Officer Candidate school in Newport, Rhode Island. He has served as Weapons Administration Assistant in USS PREBLE (DLG-15); First Lieutenant and Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer in USS BROOKE (DEC- 1): as Advisor to Vietnamese River Assault Group TWENTY ONE in My Tho, Vietnam; as Chief Engineer and Weapons Officer in USS GURKE (DD-783); as Damage Control Assistant in USS LEXINGTON (CVT- 16): as Commanding Officer. USS BRUNSWICK (ATS-3); and as Chief Engineer in USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA-3). He has also served ashore at the fleet Anti- Submarine Warfare Training Center, San Diego, California and the Naval Military Personnel Command in Washington D.C. Commander Anderson ' s personal decorations and awards include two Bronze Star Medals with Combat v , two Meritorious Service medals, the Army Commendation Medal, two Navy Achievement Medals, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and the Vitenamese Honor Medal, plus several unit and campaign awards. i 14- CBk jmumG ia wmmmmmmm

EXECUTIVE OFFICERS LCDR MAXWELL GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSI- TY OF UTAH WHERE HE EARNED A B.S. DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGY. AFTER RECEIVING HIS COMMISSION THRU THE NROTC PROGRAM IN DECEMBER 1969, HIS ASSIGNMENTS HAVE INCLUDED USS THEODORE E. CHANDLER (DD-717). USS BERKLEY (DDG-15) AND FLAG SECRETARY AND AID TO COMMANDER SOUTH ATLANTIC FORCE. LCDR MAXWELL WAS RELIEVED BY LCDR LASSMAN IN SEPTEMBER WHILE IN SASEBO. JAPAN. LCDR MAXWELL LCDR LASSMAN LCDR LASSMAN GARDUATED FROM THE UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY IN 1971 WITH A DEGREE IN MATHEMATICS. HE HAS SUBSEQUENTLY EARNED HIS MASTERS IN ASW SYSTEMS FROM THE NAVAL POST GRADUATE SCHOOL IN 1978. HIS ASSIGNMENTS HAVE INCLUDED USS BADGER (FF-I07I). USS O ' CALLAHAN (FF-Wn. USS DURHAM (LKA-II4) AND UNDER THE COMM s •? OCEANOGRAPHIC SYSTEMS PACIFIC.
