A USS BADGER QFF-10715, ofthe KNOX class of fast frigates, is named in honor of four men of the BADGER family who served the Navy over more than a century. BADGER is designed to locate and destroy enemy submarines. She may operate as a unit ofa hunter killer group, screen other ships or formations, patrol coastal waters, or escort military convoys. The outstanding men who make up BADGER's crew are dedicated to this mission of BADGER.
