With the usual determination of the Brother- hood as witnessed in its fine effort in football, the A.K.Psi basketball team showed their perseverance on the court never letting up until the end. The term ended with an all-school party held in Waltham. The spring was again social for A.K.Psi and the school. One highlight of the term was a trip made by the Brothers to the New York Stock Exchange. A beach party at VVhitehorse Beach provided warmth and a good time for all although the weather was somewhat cool. A.K.Psi's softball team, although as spirited as in the past was unable to match the stiff opposition put up by the other fraternities. Alpha Kappa Psi, under the capable leadership of Jim Herbert, enjoyed another thrilling and event- ful year. Always alive on campus, the Fraternity started the fall term off with many closed parties as usual, but became the highlight of the entire cam- pus with its annual Phoenicmn Ball. Featuring the Drifters, the Brotherhood sponsored dance was truly a memorable occasion. The fall pledge class again complemented the Brotherhood,s high reputation. A.K.Psi resumed their frequent closed parties throughout the winter. Rushing provided the Broth- erhood with its demand for quality and a select group of men were initiated. The winter social at- mosphere was highlighted by a closed party held at the Charter House which included the attendance of Martha and the Vandellas and Bobby Freeman. Beach party at Whitehorse.
