Watkins, G. Hammond, J. Cazavilan, I. Miksch, S. Kroll, G. Burness, coach, S. Hettinger, manager. The soccer team, under the direction of a new coach, Mr. I. Gordon Burness, had an- other losing season. However, this season was unlike other seasons in that the team played better than ever before. Even though the team compiled a 1-7-1 season record, the Beavers made it a diflicult contest for nearly all their opponents. Spirit at all times was the most outstanding characteristic of the team who maintained this quality through- Colby 4 Bates 4 Lowell Tech. 6 Assumption 1 Tufts 3 in double overtime Brandeis 2 in double overtime Clark 2 St. Michael 8 Boston Un. 4 SOCCER out the game regardless of the score. This year's team consisted mostly of freshmen who contributed a great deal to the attitude of the team. But it was under the leadership of Mr. Burness and the few upperclassmen that the team jelled into what it was. The leading scorer for the season was Moise Elghanayang his best effort coming against Assumption College when he scored 4 goals as Babson won its only game 8 to 1.
