THE EPICUREAN SOCIETY The Epicurean Motto as stated by the societyis founder and Hrst president, Mr. Jeffrey M. Zack, is Give us food, wine, women, and song, and the time to give each their own accord. The past year has provided the membership with adequate time to live out, in some small measure, the objectives of the Epicurean Society. During the past year the society has sampled the fine wines and foods of many of greater Bostonls finest night spots. A recent banquet at Henri's, a small French style restaurant in Natick, proved to be one of the best in the societyis brief three year existence. The Holiday Inn of Cambridge provided the location for the Epicurean Society's annual Spring dated eating meeting. A wine tasting contest held at the Holiday Inn proved to be a good challenge for the wine connoisseurs and Paul VVilmot who poured many a glass of Wine. First Row: R. VVeiss, A. WESLEY SOCIETY The Babson Chapter of the VVesley Society for Protestant Stu- dents was founded this year by Stephen Craine, who was ably as- sisted by Brian Baker and Craig Fuller. The purpose of the organi- zation has been to bring the Protes- tant students of different faiths closer together. In keeping with this, the Society has maintained no specific religious practices through- out the year, but rather welcomed all. Several new programs have been begun by the VVesley Society, which includes, first a speaker series. In conjunction with the other three re- ligious organizations, our club se- cured an acceptance to speak from Richard Cardinal Cushing whose talk was unfortunately cancelled due to a snow storm. It is, however, the quality of its speakers that the Wesley Society wishes to maintain. Next, a series of comparative reli- gion programs has been instituted whereby members of the Society at- TPFT SINAI CLUB Since its inception in 1959, the Sinai Club has become an active contributor to the social and cultural climate of Babson. The club prospered this year under the administration of President Steve Salomon and the executive staif consisting of Vice President Steve Wolf, Secretary Marvin Could, and Treasurer William Brenner. The Sinai Club con- tinued its seventh year as the center of activity for jewish students on campus. Membership this year reached an all time high. Arrangements were made for transportation to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. A record number of aBagels and Lox breakfasts were served in the Fo'c,sle on Sunday mornings throughout the school year. These will be remembered as the high points of the club's activities. The club is looking forward to a larger membership and greater partici- pation in religious activities under the leadership of the new president, Marvin Gould, in the coming year. First Row: D. As a public service to the campus, the Society participated in the cleaning of the Babson Chapel, putting it in working order for the use of the religious organizations. In the coming years, the VVeslev Society hopes to carry on its various pro- grams, and also hopes to be able to do more with the organizations, not only on the Babson campus but in the throughout Eastern Massachusetts. other religious various schools
