Motivation Builders Being an Azusa Pacific Cheerleader is no easy task. Nor is it as glamorous as it looks. With lim- ited funds these girls purchased uniforms, painted signs and tried to build enthusiasm among a sometimes apathetic school. These gals spent hundreds of selfish hours pre- paring routines and painting posters. All their hard work paid off; for by many the girls were considered the best cheerleading squad in years. )ebbie Pontes and Syerena Davenport try to build enthusiasm at the Occidental Football game.
