' 4 Special Place As one approaches Azusa Pacific Col- lege it looks much like any other col- lege campus. Classrooms, dormito- ries, and faculty offices are sur- rounded by neatly trimmed lawns and shrubbery. The marquee stands firmly on the corner announcing the week ' s upcoming events. Students are seen filing in and out-of-doors, sometimes endlessly. But these peo- ple are not ordinary; they are special individuals. These people are dedi- cated to serving Jesus Christ and put- ting him first in their lives. This becomes evident when you first step on the campus. You are immediately greeted with a smile and not just a Hi, how are you? but with a state- ment of genuine concern like Is there anything I can do for you? 1. Trying to get comfortable with a heavy cast on your leg is no easy task. Mark Pettingale broke it during an early season practice. 2. Senior, Larry Shelton, displays the very latest in towel fash- ions. 3. Consoling Theresa Saathoff after injuring her hand in a scrimmage is Christy Sandoval. 4. Dr. Gary Bonner commends the concert choir on an excel- lent chapel preformance.
