A Final Word As Editor of this yearbook, my staff and I had one specific goal in mind and that was to glorify Jesus Christ. In doing so we faced many trials and from each one we grew. I have so many people to thank for all the hours of hard work, tears, laughter, and dedication they put into this book. For it was their unselfish giving that made this book what it is: A testimony of what life at Azusa Pacific is all about. I want to thank my Assistant Editor John Hart not only for his hard wor k but his friendship and his ability to say, Don ' t worry it ' s bound to work out. My staff for their unending support and willingness to work late to meet deadlines. A person could never ask for a greater bunch of people to work with. My photographers Phil Mann, Evan Lauer, Kevin Burton and Troy Slosted. A special thank you for service above and beyond the call of duty. The administration and faculty for their support especially Bruce Reiley, Bob Walters, Dan Canary and Dr. Hedges. My friends Ruth Kamaleson and Cathy Watson who shared hours of tears, frustration and laughter. You guys are the best! Jane Parmer my Yearbook Representative who gave hours and hours to make this book a success. You not only gave of your technical ability but you shared your wisdom and faith to help me grow as a Christian. And most of all my parents who have supported me through every endeavor I ' ve taken, good or bad. And have taught me the most important thing of all I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank you all for making Azusa Pacific A SPECIAL PLACE for me. I love you! Melissa Shippey Editor in Chief ' ' ' s-Z sa, ' t h ' ctn ' ryse ' oopP -, ' byB ' AystZ e, ' Bill 5 ' ' OOo 75 ep ,, This past year has been a growing experience for me and for the yearbook. I have learned many new things about myself and have obtained new values. I have drawn closer to the Lord and to some very special people in my life. I know that I am a better person and I am looking forward to the opportunities that are ahead for me. The yearbook has a great deal to look forward to in the future also. For the past few years the quality of the book has steadily improved. This book is a big step forward and next year ' s will even be better. A great deal of credit should go to Editor Melissa Ship- pey. She has dedicated many long hard hours to the production of this book and without her work this book would be nothing but a bunch of blank pages. I would also like to thank everyone else who had a part in the production of this book. I am looking for- ward to a book that is twice as good as this one next year under the continued leadership of Melissa and her new staff. John Hart Assistant Editor ' ° W ' ° cys, , ' sh.
