Relationships Relationships play a large part in any person ' s life and this was evident on APC ' s campus. Students developed relationships with boyfriends, girl- friends, teammates, professors and Jesus Christ. Some grew rapidly oth- ers took many hours of cultivating. One of the best chapels of the year was given by John Fischer as he spoke on Single-Person Identity. It was a time where students took on a new perspective looking at their rela- tionships. How often we didn ' t let people close to us for the wrong rea- son and how )esus designed us for fellowship with each other. This talk proved to be a growing time for APC ' s community. There were many faces that appeared on Azusa ' s campus. Some were happy, some sad, and some sur- prised. It was clear that at no time on campus was everyone in a good mood. For many college was a hard time of adjustment. Being away from home for the first time, having to live with someone you didn ' t even like, or just trying to make it through Dr. Shirbourn ' s New Testament class all proved to be nightmares. But even with the trials there were moments of shear joy and excitement. The time |oe lock finally got around to ask- ing you out, or the time you found out you still had one chapel absence left and you could go to the beach with your friends after all. These are the things that will stay in the minds of those who attended Azusa Pacific College. The faces in a few years will be hard to remember but the mem- ory of Azusa Pacific being A SPECIAL PLACE will always live on. Nancy Nicholson looks astonished as she is caught in the act of daydreaming during an Acts lecture. Passing out bread during a Thanksgiving service is Mike Zachary.
