ONUT RS SPONSORS SPONSORS SPC In almost every yearbook a few pages are set aside for the purpose of advertising. These ads help to offset the rising costs of yearbook produc- tion. APC ' s Annual Staff sold nearly $2,000 in advertisements this year. The yearbook staff combed the streets of Azusa and Clendora look- ing for sponsor prospects. Many spent hours on the phone calling prospective buyers. Some students found it was just their cup of tea while others vowed never to enter the sales profession. No matter what their decision, it was a growing and stretching time for all. The pain and excitement was over in three weeks with the affirming knowledge that Azusa Pacific would have a yearbook. Another method for raising money was the first Annual Donkey Basket- ball Came. The donkeys were pro- vided by the Ben Reynold ' s Company of Colton. Selected students united to play the always supporting faculty. Ads were again sold for souvenir pro- grams as well as candy bars and other snacks at half-time. The crowd was enthusiastic and everyone had a great time.
