Jeff Wareham Sophomore Karen Walker Freshman Terree Walton junior mm i A number of our students had the opportunity to expe- rience what has been refer- red to as The Second Best Thrill. Yes, it appears as if skydiving is here to stay! Scott Rosenberger and Dave Pearson, two experienced jumpers, were responsible for coordinating the program in which over thirty students participated . Through three hours of classroom training and three hours of ground school, the tension mounted until the students became obsessed with the desire to make their first jump. What ' s it like to leap from a rumbling DC-3 into 3,000 feet of air? Outrageous, Terrify- ing, and just plain Fun, only come close to describing the feeling the jumpers had when they finally touched solid earth again.
