Then created just for you, by Physical Plant Mechanic Carey Holmquest, is the APC Community Park. Located just west of the Physical plant, next to the soccer field, are grass covered hills graced with several trees and plants, along with a Gazebo and beautifully fragrant rose garden. A Paradise right on campus. Carey has been planning and working on this project since last July, along with Maintenance Director Bob Townsend, Groundsman Randy Burk (who drew the architectural design), and several hard working volunteers. Remember, the next time you need to escape, you have access to your own private para- dise. A.P.C. students must have been good little boys and girls, for when return- ing from Christmas vacation they found new carpet throughout the lounge, along with fresh paint, new tile, tables, pictures and plants in the snack bar. Students enjoy playing ping-pong, pool and pinball, eating, visiting with friends, and (praytell) studying in this beautiful lounge with its relaxing atmosphere.
