Although she was born in India, Ruth has lived in the United States a good deal of her life. Since her father is Vice President of World Vision, Ruth has had many opportunities to travel. She has lived in India, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, but for the past six years Arcadia has been her home. Ruth speaks Tamil, in addition to English, and is pursuing her major in Elemen- tary Education. Although Ruth is an off-campus student, she can always be found in the student lounge or the snack bar, wearing a bright smile. She loves Azusa, and says, The people are great. Azusa has helped me grow in many ways. It is a privilege to have Ruth on our campus. : ' ; ' - Ruth Kamaleson displays her smile in the APC mall. x: Linda Hayne lunior • , 9k ' ' S 1 ir ' M P Gregory Heldreth ' Freshman - T9 « Carolyn Herrin Sophomore left Herringshaw Freshman Mark Herringshaw I V People Steve Hindalong Senior f-w M Ele Hitchings Sophomore Jonathan Hirtle lunior

Dwayne Green lunior Brian Green Freshman Our snack bar plays a maior role in the development of the students at APC. The student-workers behind the counter are always cheerful and eager to dish up whatever your tummy wishes. Despite the sounds of hamburgers sizzling on the grill, and the soft roar of those around you, it is even possible to study in the snack bar. (Many students find the corner booth an excel- lent place to cram ). Of course, there is always a handful of students that view our illustrious snackbar as a common candy shop, or arcade. Just to get an idea how large that handful is, over $200.00 is spent on candy alone each week, not to mention potato chips, donuts, etc. And the pinball machines? It is safe to say that they are never silent. With the recent addition ot two new video games, the amount spent on pmball each week also exceeds $200.00. That is over 115 games played everyday, including weekends! Yes, the snack bar plays a maior role in the development of the students at APC. yy thes .li % - Esther Grimm Sophomore Phyllis Grooms lunior Cheryl Gross Sophomore Bob Gunn lunior Kelley HacKeu Freshman Daryl Hallbergb lunior Sheryl Hamlow Freshman Handjarwatono Sophomore Steve Hanson People 145
