These people participated in a variety of activities. They com- peted for national titles, school records and individual rewards. However, the most important thing was not whether they won or lost on the field or the court because this was irrelevant. They would all be winners in the end as a result of knowing Christ as their personal savior. If they could change one opponent ' s life while competing, their season was a suc- cess Perhaps the one thing that is more prevalent than anything else is the closeness. Not just between the students, but this expands to the faculty and administration. It is this unity that has made Azusa Pacific into the school that it is. It is indeed A SPECIAL PLACE. 3.
