Frisbee and Cougar Club Frisbee Club. Evan Lauer, Gary West, Cree McCook, Derrell Hallstead, Mike McCook, Brad Steele, Bret and Cindy Jones. The Frisbee and Cougar Club both have one main goal in mind; have a good time. As for formal group meetings there are none. These groups thrive on spontaneity. If the mood fits it ' s time to throw a frisbee if not, no great loss. The Cougar Club thrives on being noticed. They were responsible for countless good times and laughs. One of the most noticed was when they all dressed up for a basketball game to help encourage school spirit. This was all produced by word of mouth. They were also responsible for numerous raids on campus. As for club presidents none have been established. The groups feel this is impor- tant to keep from becoming organized. Both groups see themselves as growing and by next year expect to be the largest organizations on campus. Frisbee Cougar Club Organizations

Outdoor Adventures offers an opportunity to: broaden your horizon by forcing personal limita- tion in an outdoor setting. Trips this year included canoeing, rock climbing and cross country skiing. The emphasis of the Intramural program is to provide a total sports program that would encourage a high participation level by anyone who wants to be involved in some form of athletic competition, such as Football, Basketball, Frisbee, Golf, Ping Pong or Backgam- mon. Cliff Briggs works on a class schedule for spring semester. Mike Hale maps out the next backpacking trip. Chuck Fake shows that renting camping equipment is just one of com- muniversity services. The Helpers There are two clubs on campus whose primary concern is people and how to help them. They are SWAT (Social Workers in Action) and SNAP (Student Nurses of Azusa Pacific). As part of their graduation requirement these groups donate countless hours of service to people to the community. As if a student nurses ' schedule isn ' t difficult enough they are required to donate countless hours in neighboring hospitals for training. Often these student nurses go unnoticed for the simple reason they are work- ing and you never see them. The same with the Social Workers they too are giving service often unnoticed. Although the fruits of their works often go unseen the work they are doing for the community is greatly appreci- ated. Social Workers Nursing ' |A ' Organizations ■ vf»J
