i Mexican For seventeen years, during Easter vacation, Christian high schoolers, collegians and adults from churches throughout California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho have been an active part of Mexicali ' s exciting outreach to literally thousands of Mexicans in the Mexican Valley. Over 1000 Christians join together to share the gospel of Christ through songs, crafts, testi- monies, Bible studies, sermonettes and Christian love. This Thanksgiving 75 students from APC ministered in Ensenada to orphanages and churches. APC students flock to fresh water which is always a welcome sight in Mexico. Sharing their music gifts are Sharon Hillis, Karen Ratftery and Mike Zachary. A car in the village shows the spirit of Azusa Pacific and Mexicali. QUITENO a0tttmmmism ■iiSf-S Mexicali Organizations

The Bridge There are many small music groups on campus. But there is one that is a little unique. This group is called Bridge. Bridge combined brass and rhythm with the harmony of six vocalists to produce a high quality service of praise and worship. Under the direction of Don Neufeld, The Bridge performed contemporary, gos- pel and old favorites in schools and churches around southern California. Their schedule was often rigorous and hard to deal with because like all music groups they carried a full school schedule and often missed classes due to concerts.
