A GROWING SEAS ON Our success as a football team cannot be measured It can- not be computed, divided, multiplied, graphed, or given numerical value. In a society where statistics are the primary source of evaluating success, our season represented 3-4-1 numbers that could be assigned to any mere combination lock No, our success evades numerical value Numbers and records will soon be forgotten, but the personal growth and friendships developed through a season of sweat, in|uries, differences, and even death, will remain as building blocks in the lives of all our coaches and players Our success as a football team is only made manifest in an awards banquet, seemingly more like a family reunion.
