Class History Cont. The friends and parents of the seniors pre- sented a comical basketball game, thus swelling our class treasury. To further show their love and cooperation they also sponsored a barbecue supper. The seniors expressed deep gratitude to all those who so loyally supported their efforts. Under the supervision of Ramona Brown, Presi- dent of the student body, Linda Cooper and War- ren Bake r were elected Homecoming King and Queen. Those ele cte d to the 1958 May Court We re Brenda Winburn, Queen, and Johnny Watson, King, Kinda Cooper, Maid of Honor, and Earl Al- len, Escort, Carolyn Skipper and Geraldine Elvis were our attendants. Clas s History Cont. Two outstanding honors were given to Nell Lundy, Miss D.A.R. and to Janis Jarne s , Miss Hi Miss. Jerry Gore was elected King Te en of the Year. Those seniors who maintained Beta Club qualifications are: Warren Baker, Rachel Daw- sey, Janis James, Carolyn Skipper, Barbara Ann McCrackin, Levon Allen, Nell Lundy, Sherrill James, Ramona Brown, Cha rl e s Carmichael, Hazel Barnhill, Linda Vaught, Minnie Pearl Rich- ardson and Pat Stanton Thus concludesour education at Aynor High School. Now we must go out in life and try to make a success but the memories of Aynor High will linger in our hearts and minds forever.
