RALLY COMMITTEE This year the Rally Committee has contributed greatly to the success of teams. Its spirit and willingeness to work long hours set the tempo for our victorious teams. The Rally Committee sacrificed much time and effort for the purpose of raising team morale and generally promoting school spirit. The Rally Committee deserves the thanks of the entire Student Body. Shields takes on many of the responsibilities necessary to the school. They work in the refreshment and spirit booths at games, sell foot- ball programs, head Homecoming committees and sit in the rooting sections along with attending weekly meetings where they paint spirit posters to hang throughout the school. l. They do a wonderful job in promoting school spirit by playing at rallies, marching through the school on game days with the rally com- mittee, :serenading players, and by playing at Junior Varsity games and other school func- tions. The enthusiasm they inspire by their faithful at- tendance at games and rallies can be considered to be a major factor in the development of the enormous school spirit at Awalt.
