BLCC Block A, the Awalt letterman's club is active in boosting the spirit and moral ofthe school. They sometimes lead cheers at games, sell refreshments at Float Building and put on the Hukilau as well as make up the teams that Awalt is so well' known for. Shields takes on many of the responsibilities necessary to the school. They work in the refreshment and spirit booths at games, sell foot- ball programs, head Homecoming committees and sit in the rooting sections along with attending weekly meetings where they paint spirit posters to hang throughout the school. l.
