MARK ENDARDO MAURY DAUBIN DON BANGLE Wingback Off. and Det. Tacke Off. Guard The Varsity Football team completed its most successful year in the his- tory of Awalt High School. They finished with a record of eight wins and only two losses, Top players on Awalt's squad were given league and regional recognition for their outstanding performance. A winning streak of eight consecutive victories put Awalt in the race for the league championship. At this point, the previously unobtainable was reached. The varsity football team beat its most bitter rival, Los Altos, in a 14-0 shut, out game. This was certainly the highlight of the season.
