Clockwise from left: Mr. Lynch works with the students outside the classroom every year when he directs the Avon Summer Drama Festival. He also devotes his talents to the production of the Variety Show. His efforts have helped to advance the social development of Avon High students. Mrs. Nagel contributes to the intellectual development of the students in an exceptional manner. Her outstanding chemistry programs touch all phases. Her devotion deserves more than mere acknowledgement. Mr. Donato furthers the students' community development by sharing his band and their beautiful music with Avon. Through football games, concerts, and parades, Mr. Donato provides a special link between the students and the community of Avon. Miss Tyler guides the physical development of the Avon High community. As field hockey coach and the only female physical education teacher, she inspires teamwork in an environment of encouragement, fun, and perception. Mr. Kepner oversees the emotional development of the students from the elementary to the high school level. He co-ordinates the math programs for the elementary, middle, and high schools, ensuring competency in basic skills. Because of their numerous contributions, the staff of Nova '81 dedicates this year's edition of the yearbook to these devoted educators.
