Y Y Butch going for the grand slam. Despite a somewhat disappointing season, the girls' softball team did have many exciting high points. Among them were the defeat of their arch-rival Canton by a score of 15-8 and topping off the season with an impressive four game winning streak. Sweet Swinger Putt for birdie Nice try, Kev. Tough guy Power release The golf team had another very suc- cessful season. Under the guidance of Coach Krupa, the squad posted a fifth place finish in the State Tourna- ment and ended up as NWC co- champions. Season highlights were a 5-0 shutout over Canton and Jeff Zivic's individual victory in the State's. The team's comradery made the season very enjoyable, and Coach Krupa achieved a first-time victory over one of his players. Hit 'em straight, Coach! 127
